My right face and me!

So ! It has been 2 long weeks !!!

The vets told me I have to be monitored for 2 weeks remember? So, yesterday we called the vets and told her that 2 weeks is up, so what's next ?

hmmmmmmmm ..... the vets said there is nothing much that she could do ...... *sigh*

But according to past cases seen by her, some dogs takes weeks to recovered, some dogs takes months to recover, and errrrrhhhhh .... some never did .... hmmmmm .... I wonder which category I belongs to...

Anyway, she suggested acupuncture .... I ask Girl Girl whats that, and she says thats like poking needles onto you .....

Now, if you guys remember, my last post, there is this "Evil Fingers" poking my face and eyes right ?

So now, besides this "Evil Fingers" there are also needles poking me ???? hmmmmmmm ..... whats all this poking about? Will I look like a Frankenstein with all those needles poking onto my face ? ..... hmmmmmmm

Anyway, we are going to see another vet this sunday, and possibly explore the options of acupuncture .... but Fat Fat is not that keen on acupuncture, but Girl Girl dont mind trying .... I think they are having a small little fight, I mean argument, I mean discussion .... on acupuncture on me.

Anyone of you have any ideas?

My Eyes and Me

After 3 visits to vets, the conclusion is "We need to monitor."

And yes, the sentence ends there ....... all from the 3 vets ........... I am only short of hearing them say "I am sorry, but I dont know what happen?"

So what does this means ? This means I am equally confusion and clueless as you ..... But at least I still can see with both eyes.

Here's a video upload of me and my "not so willing to move right face".

Note the following, the left side of my face is still normal, my reflex tells me that I will blink when that evil fingers tries to touch my eyes ball...... wait, i will blink even before the evil fingers comes near me ....

But my right eyes dont blink !!! It will only blink when the evil fingers touched my eye lashes, and if the evil fingers dont "aim" for my eye lashes, it will touch my eye ball.

Next, looks at my sexy lips ....... my sexy lips of the left hand side does not drop down, the muscles are still there to keep it in place so that I can still maintain my handsome smile.

But look at my ummmmhhhhhhh ....... ... ... manly right lips, it is drooping !!!!!! can you see that ? And because of this, I cant control my sweet smelling saliva, which is always trying to escape from my mouth ..... ... and I tell you, now I hold the house record of forming the LONGEST and WETTEST drool at home ..... YEAH !!! Dont you think I deserve an award or something ?

Oh yes, now I am also good at mopping the floor with my saliva .... I help in the housework ! I am so proud of myself.

Thanks for all those kind response doggies and some long lost pal !!! I am really so touched by the power of bloggie land :)

I am visiting the vet this afternoon (this is the earliest time slot I could get) ..... Are Vets really so busy ?????? ........ anyway I will discuss all the possibilities with her ...... hmmmmmm .... ... maybe we can do it over coffee in her clinic ...

So far, I have received many information and from the symptons given to me, it appears that it may not be a stroke (which was the prelim diagnosis) ..... but it could be

1) facial paralysis
2) Bell's Palsy or idiopathic facial paralysis ........... hmmmm ..... I hope they are not saying I am an idiot :S

Thanks to all the furkids who offered me kind words of encouragements and information, I really appreciate that a lot.

I have a lot of reading to do and will update you guys as soon as I can ...... Thanks again ....

Stroke ? Now what ?

hmmmmmm ..... I cant blink, I cant move my right side of my face ......

Suspected Stroke on my right side of the face?

What can I do now? What should I do now ?

I am otherwise active and eating, and jumping and playing .......

Singapore does not have a vet / specialist on this .....

Any idea knows what should I do now?

UPDATED : One reader was telling me that it may also be facial paralysis ..... anyone has any idea as to the treatment or what can be done to make me feel better? ......

Hey every dogs and pups !!!

How is everyone ?

Sorry for the lack of post for the past HALF YEAR oH mY dOG !! I didnt realise it had been tat long !!

I will leave it to Boo Boo to update you of what has been happening for the past months.

As for myself, I am showing signs of ageing, my muzzle is slowly growing white, I am starting to show signs of anxiety and depression. hmmmmmm ...... this is not a good sign .....

This is handsome and the much younger me, note the color of my muzzle, it is mainly golden with less white.

This is the STILL handsome but old me. Look at the color around my muzzle and eyes .... they are mostly white than golden now !!

Look !!! even my legs and bums are white now ......

But dont worry every doggies and pups! This is a natural progression which we all have to go through ..... This process is what I call a M.A.N.L.Y progression .... hehehehe

Ok ! Some thing very terrible had happen !!!!

Last week, when the human came to the office, they found something HUGE tied to the gate. And that thing is GOLDEN, FURRY AND HUGE like me, so from far, the human thought I had ran out of the office and Fat Fat was prepared to skin me alive then, until he walk nearer, and nearer, and nearer, then he realised that it is NOT ME !!!! ***GASP****

Fat Fat came closer and realised that someone had tied a golden retriever to our gate !!! ***GASP AGAIN****

After discussing with me, Fat Fat and clever me came up with a few ideas why this golden retriever is tied to our gate.

1) The person who found the dog thought that , that's me, so he tied the dog up at our gate.

But helllllooooooooooooo , I KNOW I am the only golden retreiver in this estate, I KNOW I am the smartest dog in this estate, I KNOW I am the most handsome dog in this estate, but that doesnt make me the ONLY dog in the estate.

Remember : Not all Golden Retreivers are Bond and not all Bonds are golden retreiver, ok ?

2) The person had tied the dog at our gate and went for the time of his life, and forgotten all about the dog.

Hellllooooooooooooooo, you better come and collect your dog .... **GROWL****

3) The person had abandoned the dog at our gate.

I .... I .... I .... I dont know what to say if this is really true *sigh*

But just to put the record straight, this is not a zoo, nor an animal shelter, nor a pet hotel, you dont go around dumping your pet at my place ok? So if you have really done that, you better come back and get your dog, or else, Fat Fat will cook the dog for dinner and serve all of us for the next week ok ?

Ok, some basic information of the dog

a) it smell like salted fish, even after 3 baths in a week
b) it loves to sit on urine (and this explains [1] above)

HELP ME !!! SOS !!! If you know of anyone who had left the dog in front of my gate, can you please ask the person to come forward with particulars of the dog like sex of the dog, age of the dog, any micorchip, any distinctive features of the dog blah blah blah ...... once we ascertain that you are the owner, we will return the dog to you ok?

Oh yes, another thing, if you are thinking of coming to my gate to see the doggy, sorry, the doggy had been moved to somewhere else and is no longer here ..... i will tell you why next time.

Depression and a New buddy

You guys remember about me being not-so-happy ? Well, the humans finally found out why, apparently, I was in a state of depression :( ........ I was depressed that Fat Fat left me alone for so longgggggggggggggggggggggggg ...... and I heard he went overseas ..... is he in the air then ? Why is he overseas ?

And that Girl Girl, who is supposed to bring me home everyday DIDNT !!!!! She always come up with the excuse that she has a "girl's night out" and cant bring me home, or that its too late, ...... *sigh*** ........ All these lazy excuses ...........

So, I was depressed and caused some destruction in the office .......

Well yes, depression actually happens to us dogs too, so dont be too surprised.

Oh, on another note, we have a new villager in our village :) ...... Presenting .......

Yes, he is the new villager in our village :)

He is a 5 mths old husky and is still smaller than me in size ..... See how Happy I am with him ... Yippy Yippy !!!! Some new villager for me to bully !!! **opppppsss****

Oh Yes, more about this new villager, he actually has a very sad story.

His ex owner, Mr A, first saw me and he fell in love with me, so Mr A went to bought a puppy GR. After that, Mr A's girlfriend say one of my friend, a husky, and she in turn fall in love with that husky. So Mr A bought a puppy husky for his girlfriend.

Some months down the road, Mr A and his girlfriend broke up and TADA !!!! Mr A decides that he wants to throw the husky out of the house !!! And since I am one of his first 4-legged friends, he ask me if I would take the puppy husky in ...............

I was like "Hello, but you only had him for like less than 3 months ....... and now you dont want him???????" ...... and he say "YES !!! I WANT HIM OUT NOW!!!!"

I was ...... fine ........ I can share my food and toys and space with him, as long as he dont boss me around, or ELSE ..........................

So this is how the husky puppy ended up with me ................. I think humans are stupid .......... but I like him !!! and so does Boo Boo !!!!

I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT HAPPY NOW !!

Why ? Cos Fat Fat lied to me !!!

You see, what happen was, last Saturday Fat Fat promised that he will bring me home on Tuesday and that I can stay at home for the next two weeks. Meaning, I do not have to work for the next two weeks in the office.

When Tuesday night came, I was so excited and happy when everybody was packing up that I keep running up and down the office, and I waited at the door, then Fat Fat told me, "I am not bringing you home...."

NO EXPLANATION, NO NOTHING, NO APOLOGIES ........... WHAT IS THIS ??????????

I WAS SO NOT HAPPY .........

And to get back to them .................. this is what I give them on Wednesday morning

After every bath, Fat Fat will make me stay on top of a table, and I am only allowed to come down only after I am dried - FULLY !!

He say that if I move about when I am wet, I will dirty my legs, and my legs will be black and I will be dirty and if Fat Fat see a dirty Bond Bond immediately after my bath .... tsk tsk tsk tsk .......

I was taking my vacation from the office during the CHINESE NEW YEAR and when I came back, I found out that somebody had stolen my kibbles !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I left my kibbles in my bowl, so that I can enjoy them when I come back from my vacation! And I found my kibbles gone !!!!!!!!!!!

Walking with Zen

This is the first time that Girl Girl will be walking me with another dog, Zen.

But our first walk with Zen turns out to be fantastic! Zen initially will pull on the leash but after a few correction, she does not pull on the leash anymore! And when she is ask to sit, she sits immediately ! Thats so wonderful!

Instead of holding on to 2 leashes, Girl Girl tied Zen and my leash together to form a super long leash, about 3 meters long and what she will do is to hold on to the centre of the leash with one hand and if any of us are moving too fast, she will use the other hand to tug on our leash for our correction. She figured that since I am bigger and easier to control, Zen cant run far with me at the other side of the leash right ? ...... She is so clever, yes, there is no way that Zen can pull me away from Girl Girl, and I will walk just so close to her.

Yeah !!!! I enjoy my long walkie with Zen !!

Walking Rules

Some of you may have already known that we have 2 new kids in our village for this Chinese New Year.

And since Boo Boo has briefed them on the house rules, I shall brief Zen on the walking rules.

Since this is a serious topic, I have to be very serious here.
Zen : What's walking rules ?

Bond : Walking rules are rules you have to obey during your daily walk .........

Bond : Rule number 1 : DO NOT ever tug or pull on the leash or entangle your leash onto the humans leg ......... if the human ever falls down, they will squash you into "zen zen juice". I cant imagine Fat Fat sitting onto you and squashing you into juices.

Rule number 2 : When the human say SIT and STAY, you have only 3 seconds to react to the command, or else, you will feel a very hard leash landing onto your head. The human dont use their hands to slap us, they use the leash to slap us during our walk, for your info .....

Zen : ****GASPPPP******

Bond : Rule number 3 : Do not EVER, NEVER roll yourself onto dog / cat poo during your walk ..... or else, they will skin you alive ....

Zen : HOLY COWWWWWWWWWWW

Bond : simple ? we only have 3 walking rules to remember ? Isnt life great ?

Zen : MUMMY .......... this is not the kind of holiday resort I am looking for !!! I WANT TO GO HOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bond : ...... ***EVIL GRIN***** .............. oh ! grow up and stop whinningggggggggg .......

Bond: Can someone just ask that kid to stop whinning and shut up ....................

Girl Girl always bring me on a long long long long long long walk on weekends, sometimes, the walk can last an hour, sometimes 2, and sometimes the whole afternoon.

A couple of weekends ago, we went to our usual park. That's a huge park with a human play ground, a wishing well and a small enclosure where Girl Girl will let me run off leash.

I do a lot of things in the park, I check the trees and bushes for pee-mail, I see the children playing, I see people jogging, and I do my own business.

I was doing my own business, checking out mails like this
Ok, you have to search deep into the bushes, just in case any doggies left me any secret pee-mail.

Suddenly, a muslim lady shouted, yes she shouted at us. The exchange between that muslim lady and Girl Girl are as follows:-

Muslim Lady (ML) SHOUTING : Hey ! You can't let your dogs pee there! Don't you know that there are children playing there?

Girl Girl (GG) talking in a calm tone : Hey! Don't your children play in the play ground? I have never seen any children playing here (pointing to the bushes) before? And the laws says that I have to pick up my dogs poo, it does not states that dogs are not allowed to pee here. If they don't pee here, can you please tell me where he should pee? In the toilet or your house ?

ML SCREAMING AND SHOUTING : I will call the police and authority and report you!

GG smiling : Please go ahead. By the way, do you have a mobile phone with you now? Do you want to take a photo of me and my dog? It's good that you have a photo of us in case the authority ask.

ML SCREECHING : ~!@#$%^&*()_+_)(*&&^^$$!~ (vulgarities)

GG : Yeah Yeah Yeah ..... I will be waiting for you.

ML proceeded to walk to the bus stop besides the park. GG and me walked behind her, following her to the bus stop.

ML SHOUTING : Why are you following me? ~!@#$%^&*()_+_)(*&^%$#@!~

GG : Hello, Dear, this is a park, I am walking my dog, why cant I walk here? Do I have to pay road tax or something ?

ML continues to walk to the bus stop. GG and me walked up to the bus stop and just hang around there.

ML kept staring at us.

When ML finally boarded the bus, GG smiled and waved goodbye to her ........ I guess this just simply pissed that ML off even more ..... hhahahahhahahahahahahahhaha

Well, you see, I was checking for my pee-mail here.
See the small tiny tree on the right of the photo? I was there checking the pee-mail. And that is at least 4 metre away from the walk path. Now tell me, which child will play in the bushes there when the play ground is about 50metres away? And the playground comes with slides, swings, see-saw, and everything ! Which child will play in the bushes with me there ?

GG just dont understand why the ML have to start shouting and screaming at us? Can't she tell us nicely? And further more, we had not done anything which are against the law or which is wrong. .............

What a day ....... but I still enjoyed myself. :) making the ML pissed, that is :P

Sometimes this week, while I was busy working in the office, the lady with the sexy, beautiful and slender legs walked into the office again.

For a moment, I thought she is here to dump another bag and ANOTHER dog.

But she looked different today, she smelt of salt and look more sexy than before

She spoke a few words with Fat Fat and then left the office with these !!!

Oh My Dog !!! She left with the bag and the dog !!!!!!!

Me : Hey Lady !!! I thought you say the dog is MINE ? for me to KEEP ? where are you going with her ?

Lady : Yes, she is yours to keep for the past few days. Not anymore from today ....

Me : you mean ..... no more ? ..... no more ???? ....... you ... you .... you .... you .... but I like her ...................................

Our initial encounter with Patches

The other day when Girl Girl brought Patches home from office, she was slowly introduced to Boo Boo, Boy Boy and Gal Gal the CKCS one by one.

For those who are not familiar, this is Boy Boy and Gal Gal the CKCS.

Everything went on smoothly until Gal Gal the CKCS came. Some of you may know that Cavaliar King Charles Spaniel are hunting dogs. And when that silly Gal CKCS saw Patches, who is only like one third of Gal's the CKCS size, she immediately thought that it is a toy or prey or mop or whatever, I have no idea whats in her mind. ..... But the moment she saw her, she just pounces on her, aiming for Patches neck ...... but before she could do any damage, Girl Girl put a stop to it and Gal the CKCS was given a trashing, left right, front back, centre, up down ..... everywhere ..... .... and she was told to behave if she still wants to see tomorrow .....

But I can't blame her, its her instinct, the hunter instinct in her made her like this.

Anyway, Patches was unhurt, and she is fine.

And Gal the CKCS was 'educated' on how to behave and play with Patches and they are playing with each other fine now.

This is a picture taken of them within 20 minutes of the about to happen "attack". Dont you think they look sweet ? Like ..... errrr .... .mother and daughter ? :P

Oh yes, I forgot to mentioned, ever since she came, Girl Girl the human mentioned something that she has a furry shadow ..... shadow = furry ??????? is Girl Girl growing fur now ? just like us ???????????? yipiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Run Away Kid - Guess who ?

Last saturday, while I was in the office, I saw this pair of slender, beautiful, sexy legs walking into the office with a bag and a tiny dog.

The dog is soooooooooooooooooooo tiny, that I bet my ONE paw is heavier than its whole body.

Anyway, the lady with the slender, beautiful, sexy legs told me that this small little dog is running away from home and she has packed a luggage full of things with her. Look at this, the bag is even BIGGER than her !!!!!! And why is she running away from this pair of slender, beautiful, sexy legs ?

Let me go figure out this little doggie ..... is this her bum or head ?

Later, to my horror, the lady with the sexy, slender, beautiful legs left without the dog !!!!

Me : Hey Lady !!!! You forgot the bag !! and HER !!!!!!!!!!!

Sexy Lady : She is now YOURS !!!!! To keep !!!!

Me : Mine ?????????????? To Keep ???????????????? Who ??????? me ?????

But but but but but .... .but she is so small, i can easily squash her by just landing my paw on her, not to mentioned sit on her.

Wait a minute !!!!!!! How about giving her to my brother Boo Boo, Hiak Hiak Hiak Hiak .........

My Adventure with the minister

Oh man !!! It has been 2 months since I last blog !!!!!

I am getting lazier, and lazier and lazier and lazier and ................. OK ENOUGH!!!

Anyway, I had a 2 hour walk around our estate with Gal Gal last week, and we walked and walked and walked and walked and walked until I thought we were never going to stop. And somehow, we ended up in Sembawang where those people are getting ready for a walkathon, there was some very loud music there and a lot of people. And those people are very excited about the event.

Well, I was very tired after walking for 2 hours and bearing in mind that we need to walk back home, Gal Gal went to get some water for me and herself. So she conveniently found a pillar and tied me to the pillar and off she went in search for water.

The moment Gal Gal came back, she was shocked that there were about 10 people, including one policeman surrounding me ...... some were asking "whose dog is this?", "This dog is huge", "this dog is so docile" ..... ..... .... .... and among these people was Singapore's Minister for Law and Second Minster for Home Affairs, Mr K Shanmugam, who was there to officiate the walkathon.

Well and as for me, I just sat there enjoying all the attention. Well, how could anyone not have their attention on such a handsome boy like me right?

Anyway, Gal Gal came back to me and let me have my LONG DESERVED water ........ man !!!! I have never been that thirsty before. Anyway, that was my brief encounter with our Minister. Oh yes, I think he likes me.

What do you normally do on a raining day ?

Well, for me, raining day normally spells trouble, cos rain = no walk , no walk = moody me, moody me = not HAPPY ME ...... so i HATE RAIN ....

On raining days, I like to "park" myself at the garage with a bowl of beer, praying and hoping for the rain to go away. But Gal Gal dont like me to "park" myself on the wet floor, she say I will dirty my beautiful coat ..... oh ...... what kind of theory is that, I dont know

Well, since she donts like me to be on the wet floor, how bout the sheltered part of the garage, can I park there ? Oh yes ! See my grumpy face and you will know what I am trying to say ...

Misson Accomplicing !!!!

Hey everydoggy !!

I am in the process of accomplising my mission.

I heard that Skye's grandpa is sick and went to make a mini 9 inch by 9 inch blanket for Skye's grandpa.

I think Skye's mum will combined all the mini blanket and make it into a GIANT blanket !!! I hope more of us can join in this mission. And who knows? We make be able to make a giant blanket and earn a name in the Guiness Gook or RECORDS ? wooooooowwwwwwwwww .... that will be nice.

Singapore Arts Festival

Its now the ARTS FESTIVAL now in Singapore. And we get lots of Arty things here, we have plays, arts museum .... and more arts ...... doesnt sounds quite interesting to me ....... if only I can play with those arts .....

But Fat Fat said that if I were to play or pee with any of those arts pieces, he will most probably have to sell me off to replace those arts .............. .......... WHATEVER .....

Anyway, I being a very loyal dog-ti-zen of Singapore, I participated in the opening ceremony of the Arts Festival.

And they have this wonderful fireworks ..... Sounds scary initial .... But I soon g0t use to it

One day, while we were all bored at home, Fat Fat suggested that we should take a GROUP PHOTO !!!! Something which we have NEVER NEVER NEVER tried before ...... ...

So Fat Fat and Gal Gal got to the task of getting us ready for the photo taking.

As most of you do not need to earn your keeps, officially I mean, unlike poor me. I need to work in the office to keep my keeps .... *sigh*

So I shall show you what I normally do in the office, I walk around, make sure that there are no intruders, I walk to the door, make sure that its secured, walk around to get someone to answer the phone, walk around to make sure that the floor is clean. ....... A lot of walking around, and sometimes I run too ...... its really a tiring job.

Photo taking in aid of Myanmar victims

I am sure many of you have heard of the Myanmar cyclone which resulted in many homeless and dead right?

I chance upon this group of people who started this PhotoAid project. What they do is that, they will takes photos for tourist, or in fact anyone, including pets like me ***smile**** with the Merlion (for those who are not sure whats a merlion, hold on there, I will show you in a while) as a background for a small donation of $10, you can donate more if you want.

And the wonderful thing about this is that you can be sure that the donation goes straight to the victims in Myanmar and not to the government ....... I dont know what to say of them ........

The donation will go through the Salvation Army who will channel this sum of money to the victim without passing through the government !! Isn't this great ?

So last sunday, I brought Gal Gal and uncle T to this event and look at the beautiful pictures they took for us ! See the white half fish, half lion creature behind which is vomiting water ? Thats the Merlion.

Those photographers are so funny ! They kept trying to get my attention by ringing a bell, blewing whistles, calling me ..... and God knows what else they did ..... ..... They adore me so much that they are dying for me to look at them .... hiak hiak hiak

And with this small receipt, I can go online to download the softcopy of the photo, and guess what? They gave me ONE hard copy too !! How cool !!

Oh this is not all !!! We went all the way there to look for Uncle C who took some very nice pics of Gal Gal and me !! But Gal Gal said that taking this photo is very tiring, she said its even more tiring than having your wedding photo taking. As Uncle C kept telling her, smile, look this way, tilt your head to the left, to the right, dont move ................ hahahahahahaha .... that lazy gal ....

Phew ! What a tiring day for me ...... after the photo taking, I just sat by the sea and relax and watch the day goes by .....

Changi Airport Terminal 3

Singapore's Changi Airport Terminal 3 went into operation in January 2008.

And guess what ? I was there !!! In fact twice.

The new terminal is so new and so spacious !!! I like the place!

Operation Bring Beau HOME

We came to know that an ARMY OFFICER, Stormy, from the troop of Army of Four is recruiting for a mission to bring Beau home. For those who are not familiar, Beau is Hammer's brother. And Beau has been lost for a long long time. You can read about Beau here.

Well, you see, I hate raining days and thunder ...... (NOTE : I am not afraid of rains and thunder, I just HATE them) ..... normally when it rains or when thunder comes, I will run into the rooms where there are humans and PAWTECH the humans from the rain and thunder ......

What happen was that it rain one afternoon and the humans went out for lunch, closing the doors to the room after them. And as it was raining and the thunder came, what I did was that instinct told me, I had to go into the room to pawtect them ..... and since they dont open the door for me, what do I do ?

RIGHT!!! I dug a whole onto the wall to get to the other side of the room ......

And before I can finish digging the wall, the human came back ..... ***duhzzzz*****

Hmmmmm ..... but im not sure why the human are not that happy with my artwork ....

A fight with my neighbour

You guys remember Brownie ? The big brown stray in my neighbourhood.

He had all along been nice to me, or rather, we had all along been keeping out of each others' way. ....... until today.

I was minding my business, investigating my pee / poo area by myself, and I was half way peeing, when a saw a shadow behind me, and before I can finish my pee, the big brown shadow is already pounching on me ....... Yeah, its Brownie, I got so scare that I growl and I show him my BIG FAT TEETH !!!!

And we both became one BIG ROUND BALL - fighting .......

Fat Fat ran to me and grab both of us by our neck and pull his arms wideeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee apart and throw Brownie away ....... and that chicken brownie ran away .............

Fat Fat thinks Brownie is not hurt in anyway ....... and me ? OF COS I AM FINE .......

That sneaky Brownie, I hope he dont launch a sneak attack on me again ..........

Fat Fat and Gal Gal brought me to a fishing jetty. There are lots of people fishing over there. And I saw an old man who caught about 10 fishes which average about 12 inches EACH !!!

And I saw some with baby crabs !!! YUMMYLICIOUS !!!

Anyway, the jetty is not made of concrete grounds, but rather wood with gaps in between. And I just dont know why, but my BIG FAT PAWS kept getting stuck in the gap !!!! So I was extremely careful when I walked on the jetty, I was practically crawling, with my tails in between my legs !

Its so embarrassing I tell you, I kept hearing people say "So big dog yet so scared ...."

Anyway, I felt so humiliated that I decided to just lie there and not moved an inch. Luckily Fat Fat and Gal Gal were there to encourage me.

Poor Meow Meow in my office

Something HORRIBLE happened !!!!!!

Yesterday, when Fat Fat open the back door to the office, I ran out AS FAST AS my long legs could take me and guess what ? We, no its actually, ME !! I found a small little catty, Meow Meow ...... the meow meow is still a very small kitty, maybe she is still a kitty I think.

But that is not the HORRIBLE part, the HORRIBLE part is that, meow meow's leg is ROTTING !!!!!!! And meow meow cant move at all , except to meow meow meow meow meowwwwwww ....

So, Fat Fat brought meow meow into the office and put her on a cabinet. But meow meow have very funny legs, her legs are all straighten and cannot be moved.

As Fat Fat is not good with meow meow (He is only good with Royal Species like DOGS !!) so he called the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

And when those guys came, they took a look at meow meow and said that someone had intentionally broken meow meow leg and left it to die there. hmmmmmm ....... dont let me find that idiot who did that to meow meow , I will bite his bum off and sit on his legs till his legs break too !!

And they took meow meow and left ..... I wonder if the SPCA guys will save meow meow or put it to sleep ....... But whatever the SPCA do, I think they have the best interest of meow meow at heart .......

Bye meow meow ....... poor meow meow, if only you know how to open the bark door, I would have welcome you with open paws, you could stay with me you know .......

Leg Pain Pain

I think I am very accident prone recently ***sad****

After my latest protest from my tummy, now my paw pads are also protesting :(

What happen is I went running and playing and running and playing for 2 solid hours last week and I was so happy running and playing that I totally forgot about my tired paw pads.

And both my front paw have a 1 cm tear each ...... Not sure if you can actually see it here .... but this is how my paw pad looks like ...... See that It is actually sore and red and part of the pad are falling off?

Thanks everyone for the concern, I have recovered from my tummyache ..... now my tummy is back to normal and is doing what it should be doing :)

Now that I am back, I want to tell you guys that I met up with Fei's, human - Eve !!!

Eve came all the way to see me from Japan !!! OK, not quite, Eve is back here in Singapore to visit her family and we met up for claypot rice.

I was supposed to meet her at 7pm, and everyone was late except 2 of the human and one dog (aka me) ......

I waited and waited and waited and waited ......

YEAH !!!! Beautiful EVE appear before me !!!! I tell you, Eve looks gorgeous !! and she is very nice and gentle with me ..... I had my first doggy lollipop all the way from Japan !!

Bad Tummy .....

I had been having a naughty Tummy for the past 3 days ..... Instead of giving me nice solid hard poo poo, my tummy decided to give me some watery poo poo ...... and in order to give me watery poo poo, my tummy has been very hard working grinding and grinding and grinding ..... ouch ouch ouch .......

In the end, Gal Gal decides to starve me for 2 days !!!! 2 whole days !!!! ***faint from hunger*****

Its been raining for the past days, and rains means BAD THINGS for me. Because of the rain,

- I have not been having my regular LONG walk

I think someone put a curse on all the BOYS in MY HOUSE !!!

First, it was Boy Boy the naughty CKCS who tried to kiss a mosquito and got himself bitten with a SWOLLEN FACE.

Then it was Boo Boo the naughty boy who refused his food.

Now its my turn.

Remember the Rats in MY OFFICE? Well, the rats are still around, and that day, Fat Fat set up MORE TRAPS to catch the rats. The catch looks like this with very nice baits .... we have nuts, bones, cuttlefish and I am not sure what else.

Well, I just simply couldnt resist the bones on the baits. So I ATE THE BONES !!!

And guess what ? I got all the rats POISON stuck to my face, neck and paws !! You need to look real close. LIKE THIS !!

Well, obviously, Fat Fat and Gal Gal were not very happy with what they saw, in fact, the baits have always been there, and I have never taken any interest in them, until this time when I dont know what came over me .....

Needless to say, I was given a very bad trashing ...... first by Gal Gal, then followed by Fat Fat (I was given a 2nd trashing as Fat Fat didnt know that I had been beaten up by Gal Gal) ouch .... ouch .... ouch ......

To further punish me, Gal Gal cut away all the sticky rats poison on my neck and face and paws ...... she say that she wants to make me an ugly boy, and hopefully I learn my lesson well this time .......

Oh gosh, how am I going to face the world with these "holes" on me.

The funny things is that it is no longer swollen but the fur is COMPLETELY GONE AS WELL !!!

I saw that Boo Boo has this cute little rattan bed which he sleeps in everyday. It looks so cool and nice and comfortable.
Even Boy Boy the CKCS loves to sleep in this rattan bed. Boo Boo is such a nice boy that he don't mind sharing the rattan bed with Boy Boy the CKCS.
I want to feel how comfortable the bed is, so here I am, checking out the bed.

My swimming life thus far .....

When I first came into this family, Fat Fat and Gal Gal did a lot of research and they found out that swimming is good for me, especially for my hips, so we went on a search to look for a doggy friendly swimming pool.

And this is what we found then.

Well, if you look really carefully, this is a POND, which I could barely swim in. Correction, I think this is a DRAIN !!

And from the DRAIN, we found this ! A REALLLLLL POOL, which is about one metre deep.
Yes, thats me you are seeing there. :) I enjoy swimming ! Any one of you likes swimming like me?

I thank DOG that they did not tell me that this is a "swimming pool" althought it can contain some water ***roll eyes****

Trip to Changi Airport

To make up for not bringing me to the DWB Singapaw Party, Gal Gal brought me to somewhere where none of the doggies or in fact most of the Singapaw doggies have never been to. And Yes, I am happy now :)

We went to Changi Airport !! Wow ! This is the first time that I have been there ! Yohooooo .....

Let's take a tour of Changi Airport.

The people are generally nice to me and some came and pat me. I was told that only well behaved doggies can go the the airport. Had I been noisy and pee and poo all over the place, I would have been THROWN OUT of the airport. So I was at my BESTEST behaviour.

This is the place where we take note of the landing and take off time of flights. (Excuse me for the photo shop in this photo :P I was taking the photo with a human here, but the human is blog shy, I we have to REMOVE the human :P)

Gosh ! at 30kg now, I am sure I cant bring anything when I go overseas, NO Treats, No Balls, No Toys, NO NOTHING !! All these will come under this counter "EXCESS BAGGAGE PAYMENT"

Rossi needs help

Hey everyone, visit my new friend Rossi :)

Ok, Rossi got a tiny problem here. His owner suspect that he has got Hip Dysplasia .... hmmmmm .... and he is only 5.5 months old, does anyone have any special advise for him.

I only knows that

1) glucosamine is good for him
2) swimming is good for him
3) slippery floorings are bad for him
4) stairs are bad for him
5) he should watch his weight, however, this maybe a little tricky here as Rossi is still a growing puppy.

Anyone has any advise for Rossi? Help him ok?

What happen was that someone from the office wanted to bring me out and Fat Fat gave her permission to do so ......

Last week, Gal Gal had a tummyache. Her tummy was pretty upset and there are some air in it, which made Gal Gal miserable.

Wow ! None of you guess what was I doing correctly. Hmmmmm .... quite a tough one yeah? Next time I shall give a clearer picture. :)

The answer is : I was eating a bone !!!! Gal Gal said that I should be a clean and considerate boy. So, when I eat bones in the office, Gal Gal will give me a super duper mega big piece of paper and I will eat my bones on it, so that I do not dirty the floor in the office. And I am not suppose to let the bone leave that piece of paper or else it will be confiscated. And I have to say Bye Bye to my delicious bone bone :( (YES !! GAL GAL IS EVIL !!! )

So if you look at this

You would notice that part of the paper is wet and torn, and when that happens, I must remember to shift my bone bone to the other parts where the paper is .....

Why must they make my life so difficult ?? Its just only eating a bone isn't it ?

My dear friend FuFu went over to the Rainbow Bridge on 12th March 2007.

This is a very sad news indeed, Jay, FuFu, Boo Boo and myself started blogging at almost around the same time, and while we were still new to the blogging world then, we make very good friends with each other. Our owners also soon became friends.

We are very sad that FuFu have left us.

We will always remember FuFu to be a very active, cute, adorable and friendly Hams-terrier. He was the only non-dog who make it into the Dogs With Blogs as a honorary member.

Bye FuFu. We will miss you deeply.

Door Keeper

Wow ! Its been a long time since I update on my job scope in the office.

Let's see, besides being a Pest Control Manager, IT Manager, Security Manager, I am also a Door Manager. .... errrr ... Door Manager? .... sounds wierd yeah?

But basically, what I do is look after the door, I make sure that no one comes in and take our things. If they do, I bark. Yes, thats the only thing I do, I bark. Not bite.

Come to thing of it, doesnt that makes me a door bell? ... hmmm .... or should I call myself a Door Bell Manager?

And I think I do a very good job and I have been trained not to leave the office even when the door is open ! Yes, I am a responsible doggies.

I have always been reading about Herbie's and Gang's wine and cheese Pawty time and I have always been so envious of them .... They were having so so so so much fun !!!!

FINALLY !!!! I Finally have a Wine and Cheese Pawty time with all the doggies over the world at DOGS WITH BLOGS and I am soooo excited!

According to this, the party starts at 28 April 2007 at 12 noon SINGAPORE TIME ! and at the moment, it seems to be an endless party (I HOPE) .... Wow !!

AND GUESS WHAT ????!!!!! While we doggies are having our own party, our HUMANS are having their own pawty at Kallang MacDonald with their laptops .... I wonder why ...

Anyway, I heard that tentatively, the Gal Gal, Fufu's Eil and Jay's J are going for the HUMAN pawty !!

YOHOOOOOOOOOOO .... that means the 4 (plus BOO BOO) are able to do what ever we want at the PAWTY !!! Isnt this exciting ???

My Neighbour, Brownie

Let me introduce you to a dog in my neighbourhood. I call him BROWNIE and he is a stray. I think he does not have a owner, so I have conveniently call him my "Neighbour", well so at least he belongs somewhere, which is MY neighbourhood :)

BROWNIE is not very friendly, he always growl and snare at me. Just like this

And when someone is not friendly to me, this is what I do, I will give them this "not very pleased" look

I have been blogging for slightly more than a year, and guess what? Today I receive my first, email. I would have thought that it is a FAN MAIL ...... but its its its its .... wahahahhahahahhahahha ...... its simply so hilarious.....

This email is from someone by the name of Ali Usman, who claims to be a Nigerian who has recently inherited US30billion from an estate. And needs MY help to remit the money out to him, but the catch is that I must pay him a certain bank charges first ......

WAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAH ..... I may be a DOG, but I am NOT stupid .... why would any clear headed dog be willing to part with their hard earned FOOD, BONES FIRST without any returns? THIS IS STUPID !!!!!

My Gal Gal always makes me work for my food. I have to guard the office, swim A LOT, catch the mice before they give me any food at all .... so do you think I will part with my money (aka food) so easily ??? waahhahahahahahha

I think no DOG of the right mind would do it, not even the greediest dog on earth, Boo Boo will do that.

By the way, do you think I should reply my FAN MAIL and ask him whether he knows that he is writing to a dog???

Last weekend, Gal Gal got 2 bones for me.

Gal Gal tried to take pics of the 2 bones but she is always so slow .... I saw her taking LOTS of photos and yet she is always saying, "No, this is not good enough, let's take ANOTHER one .... " And there is no end to her "ANOTHER one"

And I couldnt wait anymore, while she is taking her "ANOTHER one", this is me grabbing the bones before she can stop me

Yup, thats my big fat mouth and muzzle, not the bone, there are 2 bones actually, but I managed to grab one .... hehehehhehe

Bad & Exciting Week

Hi doggies !!! How is everyone ? I am back from my Chinese New Year Break !!!

So many things has happen this week, and I am just begining the week, today is only TUESDAY !!!!!!!

Here's the BAD and EXCITING things that happen to me

1) My hotspot is back .... back .... right on my back ..... and for some reason, my itchy mouth is kissing the hot spot at my BACK non stop ...... that makes Gal Gal super duper mega angry. And the E-collar is now my best friend, 24/7, even when I am eating / pooing / peeing .......

And I look so funny with the E-collar when I go for my walk, everyone is starring at me, as if I am an alien doggy from space or something .....

2) Fat Fat is away to Japan FOR GOOD (well, 7 days is like forever to me) and I am left ALONE, in the office to fend for myself, with NO ONE to protect me ...... Sad isnt it?

3) There's tremor in SINGAPORE due to TWO earthquake in Indonesia !!! And I am so scared. Gal Gal mentioned that there might be MORE tremor to come in the next few hours or days ..... scary scary .......

4) My food is running dry soon ...... and Gal Gal just realised and JUST placed the order for the food to be sent over ...... I hope I received the food before I becomes a skeleton or something :P

Wow ......... so many things happened !!!

Here's wishing one and all a HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR !!!!!!

New Year is Good !! New Year means theres lots of goodies and fun for me :D

Legend has it that there is this demon by the name of "Nian". It will go around eating people and one day, the people discovered that "Nian" is afraid of fire, loud sounds and the color red. So they killed "Nian" with fireworks and fire crackers. And from then on, Chinese New Year is celebrated with fireworks and fire crackers to signify the riddence of the bad and good news flowing in :D

This 2 are not exactly my kind of New Year fun as they are very very very loud and errr ... yes, too loud for my liking.

Olympics 2008, HERE I COME

Gal Gal brought me swimming one day.

It the first time that I swim in a pool, well not exactly my kind of swimming, I prefer the beach and the sea. But, its really better than nothing.

Gal Gal mentioned that big huge dogs like me are prone to hip problems, she said its something like "hip displeasure" ...... hmmmmm , wierd, I am never displease with my hips before, what is she talking about??

Anyway, Gal Gal said that swimming is good for my hips. And guess what? She made me swim, swim, swim, swim, swim, swim sooooooo MANY laps ..... I have never swam so many laps before in my life, ........ she made me swim about 34 laps in total ....... Thank God she let me rest and run and play after every 4 laps ...... and it took us a total of 4 hours to finish the whole 34 laps .... ***pant pant pant**** .... I was sored and tired after the swim and I slept like there was no tomorrow. She said she is preparing me for Olympics 2008, I shall be the first doggy to win a DOGGY MEDAL !!!

Ok, I have a piece GOOD and a piece of BAD news .....

hmmmmm ...... GOOD NEWS FIRST ..... The good news is Fat Fat is back !!! :) YIPEEEEEE .... I no longer have to worry about whether I will be bullied in the office :) And now I am back to myself ! A happy, lively, smiley DOGGY !!!!!!

The BAD NEWS is ........... Fat Fat will be away in Japan for not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, but 7 (SEVEN) days next month !!!!!!! What am I going to do???? Will I be half dead again? I hope I will not be dead before he comes home ..... sigh .... What am i going to do?

Where is Fat Fat? I have not seen him for about 4 days last week. WHERE IS HE? I think Fat Fat may have evaporated from the surface of the earth.

I am so depressed that Fat Fat is not around, Gal Gal is also not in the office ..... and I am left all alone in the office with the staffs in the office ..... I want Fat Fat !!!! What if those people in the office bully me? What if they forgot to feed me? what if, what if, what if .....

Can someone tell Gal Gal not to send me to the office pls???? I want to stay AT HOME !!! Well, unless Fat Fat is in the office as well ....

Post cards to overseas

Boo Boo and I simply cant get enough of the Xmas card game and immediately after the xmas cards, we started another project. And that is to enter our friends into a contest to win an all expenses PAID trip to singapore !!!!

What we did was we went to the post office and got lots and lots and lots and lots of FREE post cards and sends out all to our overseas friends, including doggies from DWB. Like the xmas cards, it was hard work. We could have email our friends but we thought that a postcard would be more personal.

We also left a website for them to find out about this contest, else they will be left wondering

And I notice that most of our recipients have received our postcards, but the bad news is we didnt win the contest .... ***cry cry cry*** **** sob sob sob*****

I CANT SEE ANY OF MY FRIENDS FROM DWB !!!!!!

I want to see them ......... never mind, we will try harder next year.

Why does bad things happen all at the same time?

I have not been lucky recently,

1) I have hot spot and I dont even know how they found themselves on me !!
2) Gal Gal is not very pleased to see me with hot spot (Well, not that I want them, they found me !)
3) I have been licking, kissing and biting the hot spots as I thought that thats the way to make them gone. Isn't it the same as food? I lick food, food is gone? ... Weird
4) Gal Gal is very angry with me for licking and kissing the hot spots, she said I am not helping. (HEY !!! LOOK !!! Im helping by licking them away ok ??!!!)

Why have all the bad things happen to me all at the same time?

Anyway, Gal Gal said that she wants to help me ..... HOW ??? ...... see for yourself ...

An E-collar

She says that this E-Collar will stop me from kissing and licking the hotspots .... well ... fine .... Im still a happy dog with this thing around me
